How to Use the [ Text(multi-line) ] Label Component
Route: Label Generator - [ How to Use the [ Text(multi-line) ] Label Component ]The [Text(multi-line)] label component enables automatic text wrapping and is suitable for scenarios requiring large amounts of text (e.g., article paragraphs). To add the component to the label preview: Click the [Text(multi-line)] icon in the left-side Component Bar.
If you do not need text wrapping and only require single-line display, use the [Text(one line)] component instead for better results.

Adjust Component Position and Display Range
After adding the Text(multi-line) component:
- Click the component to bring up an editing frame.
- You can drag the frame to move the component’s position, or resize the frame to enlarge/shrink the display area.
- The program will automatically adapt to the display range: Any text exceeding the frame width will wrap downward to the next line.
Set Text Source (Fixed or Dynamic)
Click the [Text(multi-line)] component in the preview—A detailed component editing panel will appear on the right. Use it to set the text source:
-
Fixed Text (same text on all labels): Select the [Fixed Text] option, then enter your text in the input box. Every label will display this identical content.
-
Dynamic Text (different text on each label): Select the [Dynamic text, from Import Data] option, then choose the corresponding column from the [Import Data] list. Each label will display unique text from the selected column.

Configure Font Settings
-
Default Font: The [Text(multi-line)] component uses [Arial] by default.
-
Custom Font: To use other fonts, click the [Font] configuration option. A font settings window will pop up, allowing you to select a suitable font.
Exclusive Configuration Options for [Text(multi-line)]
The component includes two unique settings:
A. Keep Words Intact at Line Ends When this option is checked:
- English words and numbers in the text will remain intact.
- If an entire word or number exceeds the maximum line width during wrapping, it will move to the next line as a whole (instead of being split). See the diagram below for an example.

B. Hide Text Overflow When this option is checked:
- If the Text(multi-line) exceeds the height limit of the editing frame, the overflowing text will be hidden.

Additional Adjustments
-
Text Rotation: To rotate the text, adjust the [Rotate] configuration option. See the diagram below for reference.
-
Line Spacing: If the text has many lines, adjust the [Line Height] configuration option to modify the spacing between lines—this will improve the text layout’s readability and aesthetics.
