What Is the Barcode Footnote

Route: Batch Barcode Generator - [ What Is the Barcode Footnote ]

A barcode footnote is a string of text (which can be pure numbers, letters, or a combination of numbers and letters) displayed above or below a barcode (see the diagram below for reference).

Typically, a barcode footnote represents the actual text content of the barcode. If a barcode scanner fails to recognize the barcode, the footnote allows for manual identification instead.

To configure settings related to footnotes:

  • Click the [Footnote] button on the right side of the [Edit Barcode] module.
  • A footnote settings page will pop up, where you can adjust the desired configurations.

The data for footnotes is sourced from the [Footnote] data column in the [Import Data] table.
