How to Use Label Templates

Route: Label Generator - [ How to Use Label Templates ]

DoingLabel offers four types of label templates: [My Templates], [Team Collab Template], [Common Template], and [Industry Template].

  • [My Templates] and [Team Collab Template]: Used to save and retrieve templates you have created.
  • [Common Template] and [Industry Template]: Shared templates that can be directly applied (no need to build from scratch).

In the [Edit Label] interface:

  • Click the [Templates] button to manage [My Templates] and [Team Collab Template] (e.g., save current labels to these categories).
  • Similarly, clicking [Templates] also allows you to access and use templates from [Common Templates] and [Industry Templates] (e.g., only select templates from these categories).

My Templates

Key Features & Usage
  • Save the label you are currently designing to [My Templates] for reuse in future projects.
  • Data for [My Templates] is stored in your local browser (only accessible and operable on the current device).
Template Migration Between Devices
To use [My Templates] on another computer, use the paired functions:
  • [Export Template] : Export the template data as a local file from the original device.
  • [Import Template] : Import the exported file into the browser of the target device to continue using the template.
Important Notes
  • Since data is stored locally, [My Templates] will be deleted if you clear your browser cache or reinstall the operating system.
  • For important templates, always export and back up the template file independently to prevent data loss.
  • [My Templates] is not linked to an activation code—both paid and free users can use this feature normally.

Team collaboration template

Key Features & Usage
  • Data for [Team Collab Template] is uploaded and stored on DoingLabel’s remote server.
  • All users sharing the same activation code can access and edit the same set of Team Collaboration Template, making it suitable for multi-user collaboration.
Access Requirements
  • [Team Collab Template] is linked to an activation code—only users with a valid purchased activation code can use this feature.
  • If the activation code expires or becomes invalid, [Team Collab Template] will also expire and be unavailable.

  • Editing or deleting Common Template is not allowed; you can only view and apply them.
  • After applying a public template, you can still modify it further to meet your specific needs.
Access Requirements

[Common Template] is not linked to an activation code—all users (free and paid) can use this feature.

Industry Template

Current Coverage

Currently, DoingLabel only collects cross-border e-commerce-related label templates in [Industry Template]. More templates for other industries will be added later based on user needs.

Usage Rules
  • The usage method is identical to [Common Template] (view and apply only, with post-application editing allowed).
  • Note: Due to the wide variety of content in actual industry-specific labels, the templates provided here may not fully match your use case. We recommend selecting the most suitable template and editing it further before use.
